Join us for a Row-by-Row Home Sweet Home Experience
How about this...A shop hop event with no fees, no passports and all summer to play? Simply visit any of the participating shops and receive a free pattern for a row in a quilt. Combine your rows in any way to create a unique quilt that represents the fun you had traveling throughout the summer. Travel with friends, discover new quilt shops and have fun collecting rows!
Create a quilt using at least 8 different rows and be the first to bring it into a participating shop to win a stack of 25 fat quarters (6 1/4 yards of fabric!) Use that shop's row in your quilt and win a bonus prize! The finished quilt must be completed, quilted, bound and have a label on the back. We'd like to hang the winner's quilt in our store until October 31, 2016.
We're excited to be part of this experience and hope you will join in on the fun this summer.
Travel and collect rows: June 21 - September 6, 2015
Check out the INTERACTIVE GOOGLE MAP where all participating shops will be marked. You can view your route and see which shops along the way are participating. Then stop by to pick up your pattern and kit to make your row.

Hatched In Africa consists of 4 hard working ladies: Santi, Liese, Cara & Mari. They all come from Middleburg, Mpumalanga in South Africa and are well known on the Internet for their quality digitizing and heirloom projects. It is also the home of the now very famous “Apricot Blush Quilt” and the OESD collection, Floral Delights 788, designed and digitized by Santi Nuss.
They use various Brother & Bernina embroidery machines & use PE Design/Palette, Bernina Artista & Wilcom software.
Santi specializes in Jumbo & Mega hoop designs & has a special knack for splitting designs. As she says: “How can you put a flower’s detail in a 4"x4" hoop?” Her shading techniques are also what make her designs so unique. Flowers & leaves have been her favorite hobby all her life & she really tries to express their beauty in her designs.
They have a variety of quality & tested designs in all formats. Their collections range from fun stuff to baby & toddler designs, florals & leaves, quilt designs & some African people & animals. All sets include test & free designs.
